Since 2014 the festival has grown considerably and now occupies a 174-seat state-of-the-art screening room in The Colonial's new expansion - Bank on The Arts wing. As an eight-session screening and discussion series, we feature a fantastic collection of outstanding vintage, contemporary, international, and award-winning Jewish short films of all genres. Our festival celebrates the richness, complexity, and diversity of all types of Jewish experiences through short films and media. Summer Shorts is intended to engage, to educate, and to inspire the community, as we explore the full spectrum of Jewish life, values, and culture.
