Catherine Black is a Canadian-American director-writer, actor, artist, intimacy coordinator and educator with 30 years of experience in front of and behind the camera.
As an actor, Catherine is best known for American Psycho, The Donner Party, Odyssey 5 and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Catherine’s extensive practice as an actor and artist has rooted their vision in filmmaking. Catherine went on to produce commercials, short films and music videos before directing their first narrative film in 2012. Catherine’s films have won international awards and acquired worldwide SVOD/VOD distribution. Known for a strong use of color and bold imagery, Catherine has great insight directing actors but their real gift is the ability to capture and convey the subtlest nuances of human emotion on screen. Catherine is currently in development on two feature films.

Chen Drachman is an Israeli-American, award-winning actress and filmmaker based in NYC.
Chen's first film, The Book of Ruth, starring Tony and Emmy Awards nominee Tovah Feldshuh, has been in numerous festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including the Academy Award qualifying Cinequest and BOGHOSHORTS.
Since it concluded its run at the festival circuit, it has had more than 160K views online through Omeleto.
Her second film, But I’m a Shoe, starring The Legend of Korra’s Janet Varney, premiered at the Academy Award qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival.
Her newest short script, Blood and Sex Over Ambition, was a quarter finalist at the Hollyshorts script competition and a semi-finalist at the Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival script competition. It is currently in post-production.
Chen is currently developing three features.
